The Head Chef has both managerial and culinary responsibilities; therefore he/she needs to excel in both domains in order to successfully conduct all the assigned duties. The Head Chef is responsible for the fruition of the respective outlets’ philosophy and culinary vision. Liaising with Top Management, the Head Chef is responsible for the day-to-day management of the outlets’ kitchen, while making sure that preparation and service of food is maintained at all times to the standards of the Group. Other responsibilities include ensuring that strict hygiene controls are kept in all kitchen areas and making sure all costs are controlled. The Head Chef is the key person to ultimately develop the rest of the team in the kitchen and maintain the standards of consistency in line with the restaurants’ philosophy.

In Malta, MG Group runs award-winning restaurants Caviar & Bull, Susurrus, Don Royale, and Dinner in the Sky Malta owned by renowned chef Marvin Gauci. We are looking for a Morning Manager to join our team.

Brief Job Description
-Assisting in the logistics of our Group
-Checking items delivered to the business. This includes inspecting the quality, condition, and quantity of any incoming goods, and allocating them to their respective destination.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to manage our pastry section of the kitchen and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation are met. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry department, manage and train lower-level pastry chefs, and collaborate with executive and sous chefs to ensure a seamless working environment.
